ERP 20+ ooc and icI prefer to rp through discord in general as I am a bit slow at responding in-game and am quite easily distracted but I'm still open for in-game since I'm trying to improve!IN CHARACTER RP INTERACTIONS DO NOT REFLECT ON OUT OF CHARACTER DYNAMICS BETWEEN WRITERS.I want to be ABUNDANTLY clear that I have a hard set boundary that separates myself and my characters and while naturally some of my own personality will resonate through my characters at times, I am not them, and they are not me. I will try my best to be clear when I am "in character" with quotation marks and ((ooc)) with parentheses but if you are ever confused please do not hesitate to ask and I will be happy to clarify. I much prefer direct and straightforward communication ooc, so I have no issue discussing exactly what we both want out of a story or character dynamic before or any time during an rp! I'm cool with just letting things happen too, whatever works.I don't mind being friendly ooc, it's easy to do with shared interests, but please don't assume we are best friends because my character is nice, and vice versa if my character is mean please don't take it personally. Some would find him intimidating because of his tendency to stand around silently observing, but in reality he is a very soft and sweet, even a bit shy. He gets a little awkward at times with social interaction and tends to be a wallflower if he's not around familiar company. Fairly easy to influence with a confident or assertive personality, he's very "go with the flow." He loves to eat and can't help but to absolutely devour a good meal, and who needs utensils when you've got a full set of sharp teeth amirite?He enjoys cooking and catering (especially for those close to him), gardening, tending to his chocobo Barnaby (whom he raised from a chick), exploring new places (especially if theres new food to try), and just generally spending as much time as he can with the people he cares for. History
Jenshi's parents met briefly in Kugane when his mother from the Arulaq tribe travelled there to purchase goods. She connected with his father quickly, both were infatuated but after getting to know each other for a bit they figured their lifestyles conflicted too much so she returned to the steppe, unaware that she was pregnant.Unfortunately Jenshi was born quite sickly. The fact that he was entirely unplanned with the added pressure of his poor health was too much for her to bear, so she went back to Kugane in hopes that his father would take him instead. With no hesitation, his father took him in and raised him there and as such he has no connection to his tribe on the Steppe nor to his mother. He has no knowledge of her whereabouts or if she is even still alive. (she is)His family is in the business of selling dried herbs/spices and other preserved goods, some of the finest in Kugane. This has led to great wealth for Jenshi, though most would never know until they are a recipient of his kind donations. Up into early adulthood Jenshi would help with the business by tending the gardens, gathering resources, cooking and prepping, and running sales at the booth as well. This was a great bonding experience between him and his father and the rest of his family as well, they have a wonderful relationship.Since Jenshi was quite ill through his childhood he often worked with magical healers and other doctors and he always dreamed of becoming a healer of some sort to help people like they helped him. His natural affinity with aether granted him the ability to perform rudimentary spells at a very young age.Kugane is a large travelling hub, so Jenshi was exposed to a variety of different folks and cultures and it only made his heart yearn to see more of the world. At the age of 21 he finally convinced his dad to let him travel to Eorzea, Gridania in particular. He heard many a tale of the padjal and their potent healing magics and needed to go see for himself.-TO BE DETERMINED-From here is typically where the narrative changes based on the context and/or RP partner. His main storyline is where he becomes the warrior of light and fits the closest to the in game story, but he can fit into almost any narrative as I have many scenarios I've built for him.
Appearance
He's been through a lot of changes from the time I initially created him to now, so there are many inconsistencies in his artwork and screenshots, and tbh I may adjust his design still going forward but this is the general premise at least!His horns are a bit closer to his head, smaller and more rounded similar to a ram's horns. His tail is quite long and thick, the tip of it touches the ground at rest. His teeth are all pointed. His scales have a likeness to patterns and textures seen in real reptiles. I don't have a specific species he's based on but think something like uromastyx scales. He's very large and strong but I imagine his bodytype to show more functional strength rather than cosmetic muscle tone so if he isn't flexing he looks very soft and has a decent layer of fat.He is adorned with subtle freckles from his father's side, along with his dark hair color. His natural magenta hair highlights and golden eyes/limbal rings (and ofc all of his lizardy bits) are from his mother's side. He often wears eyeshadow in tones to match his natural hair highlights and dark eyeliner. He tends to dress more fashionably than not and likes to style with plenty accessories such as earrings (hornrings?), necklaces, bracelets, and rings... all of which i am often too lazy to draw or mod lmao.He does have some piercings, the most apparent being his nose bridge piercing. He also has his navel, nipples, and [redacted] pierced!

He is autistic and finds great passion in exploration and learning new things specifically pertaining to his expertise. Highly adept in the medical and healing arts, physical anatomy, and botany. History
Gyo was an only child born in Sui-no-Sato. He was raised conservatively and sheltered heavily. He found his life there to be boring and fruitless so he set out at a young age to explore, leaving his family behind. He eventually landed in Eorzea, Limsa Lominsa to be specific. There he found his passion in Botany and while he was investigating local flora he stumbled across the talented arcanist, K’lyhia. They both got along well, sharing their knowledge with each other and Gyo decided to join the guild where he found his own talents in magic.He found many along his travels that needed aid and he felt a great sense of fulfillment using his minimal healing powers to help, which encouraged him to seek out ways to improve and expand upon them. During his time spent working on the magical aspect, he also honed his skills in the naturalistic facets of medicine and studied adamantly to learn more about how the body and mind could benefit from more traditional and straightforward means.After working with the Arcanist’s guild for a while, he is referred to meet Alka Zolka, who had the same penchant for learning as he. It was in their exploration of Nymian artifacts where Gyo found and attuned to a Scholar soul crystal, his fairy slumbering within. With the power of the soul stone and his new partner, he was able to drastically improve his healing skills.His travels eventually took him to Ishgard where he found an immense population of war torn knights, dragoons, and civilians alike, not to mention those afflicted by ugly politics and a classist society. He chose to devote himself to these people both high and lowborn and selected a residence easily accessible to anyone in the city-state so that he may provide care to those who need it, regardless of their status.

Osiris is quiet, preferring to keep to the shadows and observe rather than directly interact. He does not speak often and uses subtle expressions and body language to communicate. His combat style is stealth, his dual wielded daggers tend to find their mark before his prey ever knows he's there. Not prone to unnecessary violence but does get irritated easily and will act if needed. He does not give out his real name, choosing a multitude of aliases instead.
History
Osiris was the second born in his family made up of his mother, father, and 7 siblings ranging in age from adult to toddler. He grew up in the outskirts of the Thanalan wilderness. His home life was hectic with such a large family, his own wants and needs often washed up in the chaos. His father was not approving of the fact that Osiris wanted to be a vampire hunter since traditionally only the men in their family had done it and Osiris was born female. His mother, however, was secretly supportive and would help him sneak off to train with his childhood friend Adonael who he then eventually teams up with in adulthood. The pair are a dangerous duo, their synergy often unmatched.
Appearance
He is short and lanky in stature, 5'6" and around 135lbs. Agile and stealthy. He has dark brown hair and hazel eyes that glow golden during high stress situations or before transformation. He has very dark circles around his eyes and is constantly tired.Two diagonal scars span the right side of his face, the larger one from forehead to cheek over his eye, and the second smaller one across the bridge of his nose and cheek. He is covered in tattoos, a combination of cosmetic designs and functional vampire repellent sigils and runes. He has three piercings in each ear lobe and one in his right nostril. His fashion style tends to be practical and stealthy with dark/neutral colors, but sometimes he looks like a Hot Topic employee. Hair is almost always in his face, how does this guy see where he's going? Nobody knows.

Sinclair is gruff and reserved. He is definitely not one to carry through long conversations or small talk, preferring to keep things straightforward and to the point, often curt. He is incredibly resourceful and observational. Keeps to himself a majority of the time and won't go out of his way to cause trouble. He carries a lot of trauma from losing his family at a young age and won't open up to anyone about it except his adoptive younger sibling Noelle.He is very protective of the few people he is close with as he fears losing anyone else. Lot's of love in his heart, it's just locked up.Has pretty intensive scarring from being attacked by Ixali as a child. Lost his left eye and a good chunk of his upper left lip.
